PLAYBOY | Ultra Thin

Ok so as a girl, these felt so much better than any other condom in a few different ways for me.. first off was the heat transfer! It was so great and even though I've never had unprotected sex, but it felt almost like I thought it would be, it felt like there wasn't a barrier between me and him. I could just feel so much more of him.. unfortunately I can't describe the smell for you guys since my smell is all jacked up from covid back in 2020..but my boyfriend didn't say it smelt like anything! All in all, it's an amazing condom.. we didn't need extra lube this time but you may need it, it's all based on how much your body produces I guess. 10/10 would recommend! And definitely buy again (I bought 10 more last night)

I really enjoyed the feel of these and my partner was pleased with the fit and the thickness of the latex. We also appreciated the lack of latex (this condoms smells like a balloon) smell. It is cool that you can buy one condom (better than a whole box for sure). We actually found this condom via the Lucky Bloke International Ultrathin sampler. Ps. Very discreet shipping which was a plus for us. It was also worth it for us to spend $30 USD to get the free international shipping. =)

Enjoyed this condom... really enjoyed the textured one even more. Did have to use a little lube which we don't typically have to. Maybe not quite as sensitive as the thinnest out there, but still good feel.

Upon opening this condom the first thing my wife said was, "Does it smell like vanilla pudding?" Yep. There is definitely a sweet smell when opening the package. Speaking of the package, the copper bunny on the black made for a nice looking wrapper. Easy to open. That smell does disappear once you actually get the condom rolled down, and your fingers will have a definite rubber smell to them. It's a little bit of a turnoff when you go to nuzzle, among other things, the wife, and all you smell is rubber from where your fingers were.

When we do use condoms, my wife prefers thin. The thinner the better. Shes says thicker condoms don't feel as good. Who am I to argue? She says that it had a "real feel smoothness" and didn't irritate her. We didn't need to reapply lube either. Is this the thinnest one we've used? No, but it was thin enough that she said she had no complaints. I would say that it is about as thin as you would find from Trojan or Durex, but not as thin as Kimono or Unique.

Reservoir tip was a decent size, and the width of the condom wasn't terrible. I'm in the Medium/Larger camp, and it felt just a little tighter than snug. As a comparison, the Kimono Thin (red package) felt more tight at the base. The lubricant they put on it was ok, but we did use extra anyway, which is normal for us with condoms. We haven't tried the Uberlube yet...next time.

When we were finished, we noticed that the condom didn't feel as...rubbery...as it did when we first started. It felt pretty smooth to the touch, almost like it never had lubricant on it in the first place. I know that the lube wears out during the session, but it's tough to describe it any other way. It had a completely different feel then when first putting it on. Not sure why I'm putting that in the review, but, hey, it's something we noticed.

If we had to choose between this and, say, the Trojan Bareskin, we'd go for this one. I have had a couple of those Trojans break on me, even with lube, so I am a little leery there. Would this replace our Naked or Unique? It would not, but it isn't bad by any means.

This was a pleasurable experience.

As with the Playboy Classic, I couldn’t find the specs for the Playboy Ultra-Thin anywhere online, so I’ll have to give my best guess at its thickness based solely on feel.

This definitely had better heat transfer and a closer feel to it than what we experienced with the Playboy Classic, so I’m certain that it’s significantly thinner than that one. I’m not sure it’s quite down to the .045 mm mark that we try to stay around, but I’m guessing it’s pretty close. It might be around .05 mm or so, but I realize I’m splitting hairs at that point, and it’s really impossible for me to know for sure just based on feel alone.

In terms of a comparable product, I would say that it was similar to the Trojan Bareskin; however, my personal opinion is that the Bareskin has better heat transfer and affords a closer feel, so I’m guessing the Bareskin is most likely a bit thinner than this one. If you’ve read any of my other reviews, you know that my wife and I are fans of the Trojan Bareskin. In fact, it’s one of only four latex condoms that have gotten four out of five stars from us and is the only Trojan product we use. So, it’s a decent compliment to the Playboy Ultra-Thin that we would put it within the same ballpark as that one.

That said, although the Playboy Ultra-Thin is definitely better than the Playboy Classic, I don’t think it’s quite up to the level of the Trojan Bareskin. Therefore, I would give this one three and a half out of five stars. I will say that the silicone-based lubricant that Playboy uses certainly earns it a point against the water-based lubricant used by Trojan, but that’s a minor point and isn’t enough to counteract the benefits of a thinner condom, which is where the Bareskin wins out against this product.

As with the Playboy Classic, it’s got the same cool-looking packaging, but, again, that’s a very minor point.

Bottom line: If you like the Trojan Bareskin, the Playboy Ultra-Thin probably won’t disappoint you, but, given a choice between the two, I would personally stick with the Trojan Bareskin.

This is one of those products we would probably use if that’s what was available. And, don’t get me wrong; we would enjoy using it. It’s a good product. But, with so many more preferable options available, we probably wouldn’t go out of our way to find this one.

This condom felt the same to both of us as the regular Playboy condom did. It didn't feel bad,but we didn't notice that it felt any more natural or more comfortable than the non-ultrathin.

This condom fit on the tighter side giving me a warm sensation when first putting on. Not the thinnest condom I have used but would use again.

Right out the package it smells okay. Not too "factory smell." It is adequately lubed. It does not stick to itself when rolling down. It fits correctly and does feel thin like its namesake. It feels great and comfortable to use. Warmth transfer was a key highlight. Is it the thinnest closest-to-nothing condom? No, but it is a very nice thin variety I'd use again for sure.

The packaging was super cute with the iconic playboy symbol on it. Opening was super easy and condom felt very full of moisture but we still used lube (as you should with every condom regardless). For a medium size condom, it definitely was on the smaller side to fit. My partner complained it felt tight, so you may want to size up if you are in the medium range (toilet paper roll test). The strength of it was great, but the thin factor left something to be desired. We have used other brands ultra thin and experienced better sensations. Overall, good condom but watch out for sizing.

For a thin condom it was pretty good not the thinnest but it had good endurance and felt thinner than most store bought thin condoms.

Fit was normal. The condom felt average, and would have benefited from more lube. Definitely use lube with these! Overall not my favorite 'thin' condom, but I think the lack of lube was definitely the main factor here.

Felt good for both parties. Nothing mind-blowing or extraordinary, to be sure, but it felt solid and good, and helped with some fun.

Great fit. Very comfortable and feeling was phenomenal. Hardly knew I was wearing it. Partner enjoyed it just the same. Definitely going to keep some on hand.
